Jason finishes 3rd at Motor Mile Speedway
Jason Adkins and the Cusson Racing team returned to Motor Mile for the 2nd time this season. After qualifying 6th Chuck made some adjustments to the car to try and get a little more speed out of it for the race. Starting on the outside is never easy at Motor Mile but it didnt take Jason long to make is way to the bottom line and start to make up a few spots. Shortly after halfway jason had made is way to 3rd but that was all he could manage as the top 2 had set sail and were a good ways ahead. Following a late caution Jason was able to pull the 17 up beside the 15 car for second but was unable to complete the pass and 3rd was were he stayed. Jason and the Cusson Racing Team are currently 2nd in the points just 12 points out of the lead with 4 races left. Check back for updates as Cusson Racing aims for its second championship in three years.
Jason returns to Victory Lane at Shenandoah Speedway
Jason Adkins and the Cusson Racing team returned to Victory Lane last weekend in the 2nd race of the season. The day started out good as the car ran very well in the practice sessions but it was a scare after practice that had the team worried. We had the valve cover bolt break off in the pits but thanks to Jason Moye, we were able to get it fixed. Next was qualifying which left Jason the pole for the nights race. As the green dropped for the race, Jason got a good jump to lead the first few laps, until Moye made a pass for the lead. Jason ran in 2nd spot until two laps to go when the caution flag flew. This caution was exactly what Jason needed and was able to get the jump on the restart thanks to some help from Matt Wade to take the Cusson 17 to Victory Lane. Stay tuned for more news and results.
